Trouble with normal weekends most people have either got to get back for work or to take kids to school and it wouldnt be worth me driving or catching a train for 6 hours plus, for one night. By the time peeps left work friday night drove however far, set up camp, would be too late, or arrive saturday, then drive home sunday.Originally posted by gojiberry View PostNorfolk sounds good to me, but think an ordinary weekend in the more summer months would be better. An ordinary weekend means not getting held up in bank holiday traffic and summer months may give us a better chance at some better weather.

What we need is somewhere that is as central as possible (it's always going to be difficult for our grapes either north of the border or south of the channel). With a big field, a barn or somewhere everyone can get together in the dry , maybe somewhere close to somewhere of interest (group outing ) at reasonable cost ..........anyone know of such a place ?S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig
a batch of jam is always an act of creation ..Christine Ferber
