No,they are not violent, now you have them, put them to work when you wish, you could make 2 little men out of paper, and stick em,1 on the outside of the cupboard, and 1 in,even clone them for other parts of the kitchen, when you look at a peice of food and think mmmm, say to yourself,no loose, just gain, look for analternaitive repacement, and if you still cannot resist, chew it and spit it out,at least your tase buds will have had a ticke, and no,i have not done it myself, sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these

have done that one in the past, and not wanting to loose weight, but my fancy got the better of me, now got my head out the porn shop, the one with some brains floating around,Originally posted by Hazel at the Hill View PostAs a successful participant from earlier in the thread, I think that I am qualified to do the swift kick - along with the carrot bit too, of course.
I also do a good line in 'well, it is a bit disappointing', and 'don't worry, I'm sure you did your best', if you really want to feel bad.
That tip on baking a cake then cutting and freezing the slices is a corker, btw - because however much you want caaaaaaaaaaaaake, it is an hour's defrost away - by which time, you've rummaged around the back of the settee and found your will power again.
That or you've eaten frozen cake.

Well I have tried the 5:2 thing for the last 2 weeks and have lost 4.25 pounds - and we went out for a balti on Saturday AND I ate half a naan bread!! Today is a hungry day, so I am posting this to distract me from wanting to eat. It has not been too tough so will keep plugging away. If I can lose 1 pound per week I will be quite happy with that.

I know exactly what you mean. I am 'only' 10-12 pounds overweight, but it is enough to make my clothes a bit snug and to make me feel awkward about getting my kit off!As I've said before, it doesn't help that most people tell me I don't need to lose weight!

Exactly susie. The problem with me is that the extra weight is concentrated in one place. I can disguise it very well, so I do look as slim as I always have been! I'm at a place in my life now where I wonder if I should just relax and let nature take its course. I sometimes think if I stopped worrying about it, I would lose some weight, or is that wishful thinking?Granny on the Game in Sheffield

Hello food watchers, having read the last few posts, aprox 10 year ago i lost almost 5 stone at WW,kept it of 5 years, then, before i knew it,had put 4 stone back on,since being on the MFP since new year, have lost aprox 3/4 stone,it does not show up on the site on account of me getting confused when chanching over to a pair of modern scales,as a result,i already know a big difference, apart from some size loss,my dodgy aurther knee is already feeling the benefit, the other day i took the plunge and,had a little jog from the lottie gate to the plot,it felt good,so will do it other time as and when
,last i said i never want to be fat again,at 5.2 half, and 14.8 half stone, but i let my eye of the ball, the difficult bit,is the maintainance,i am hopefull that keeping up with the MFP website, adding more calorie allowance, will help with it,so,please don't stess about loosing more,if you not comfey with it,it only makes for feeling miserable, and wanting that binge,so please be kind to yourselfes, for me,i want to look good in clothes again, thats my motivation,
