Tony. I find that so sad that the relationship you had with your mum was so unhappy. Hugs.

This is my first mothers day without my mum and I would have loved to have been able to get her something.

That's very true Nicos, I usually ask the visitors to take a mallet and give the stake a couple of whacks to make sure she hasn't managed to pry it loose

Ouch, Tony, that's harsh but I guess there's some unhappy stuff went on.
I didn't read all these posts yesterday as had b'day to so was being thoroughly spoilt by kids, hubby and stepkids but some of them bought tears to my eyes- lovely way to start the day blubbing!!

            Lovely thought Jeanied.

Wasn't the best Mother's Day for me so I'm just going to move on from it and hope that the coming days are better.
Ended up doing everything yesterday while my lot just pleased themselves (and I got quite bent out of shape about it.) Having slept on it I know its not the end of the world even though a leeetle diappointing.

Spoke to my mum and sisters, and did get a nice surprise when I picked pickle up from her sleepover. The mum hosting it had bought pots of primroses for the girls to decorate for their mums which was really sweet of her. Mine is going in the front garden once I have got it tidy enough out there.
