I look forward to it being warm enough that I can open all the windows. That and sitting on the patio drinking coffee on a warm Sunday morning.

And of course seeing all my Chilli plants bear fruit

Not having a white garden! And being able to get out on new bike - should have got snow tyres with it! Apart fromt that, eating home grown produce outside on the patio with a glass of home brewed wine watching my dogs snoozing in the sun with a breeze drifting under the gate to keep them cool. Winter and snow seem to have been here so long last summer just seems like a dream!

Getting back to our Friday night bonfire suppers at the lottie.
DD asked on Saturday why we don't do it anymore...ummm,cos it's cold, wet and dark...Must admit, considering how mild it was on Saturday,I did regret not taking some sausages to cook on the fire.

Sitting up on the decking, eating breakfast on a Sunday morning, sun on my back, radio on in the background ploughing my way through The Sunday Times.

There's so much I'm looking forwards to I couldn't pin it down to a single thing.

It's my first season on my allotment so everything from sewing and planting out, to weeding, watering, harvesting, storing and eating is something to look forwards to.

I think the main one is probably looking forwards to eating my own produce... but it seems like there's so much work to do on an allotment that actually eating the fruits of my labour seems almost minor in comparison!
