Well it's widdled down all day here - except when it was snowing. So, Nicos, what is this 'sun' of which you speak?

Ah- back to normal...howling gales and rain
The roof timbers sound like the creaky timbers of a ship- tis really quite exciting!

I've seen the news about parts of Scotland with no electricity...flipping heck , that must be awful.

That appears to be heading in this direction then Nicos, according to the weather forecast. Could you hold on to it for a bit longer, I'm supposed to be lumberjacking for a friend today.

We have primroses out in our (sheltered ) lane and fat buds on the hazels. The grass is coming through as well, the sheep turn their noses up at hay and are searching out new grass. It must taste wonderful after this long winter!

A taste of spring today here in Bridport. No rain but loads of watery sun. The temp. in that garden is 8 and in the ghouse 18. Things are warming up
