Thanks for the suggestion Madderbat, but I'm not ready to give up TV altogether. There are some good things on there AND I do like to live in the 21st century. No TV ????? Oh no, I'm not there.

The thing that annoys me about the licence fee is that it funds the other BBC freeview channels as well as 1 & 2. Freeview won't be with us (Guernsey) until at least 2012 we are told, so why should I part fund something I can't watch and won't be able to for at least another 5 years
