    I'm doing the RHS level 2 course in horticulture and it's great too. ideally i'd like it to be ALL about veg and fruit but i do realise some folks are interested in flowers too.....sadly! anyway, it's deffo worth doing and i'm learning loads (some same as above) and it only cost £100 as i got ILA funding for the remaining £200

      What a super idea. I don't think we have any courses like this around here in Preston. (Except for Myerscough College which I think is full time professional, not for weekenders like me) It sounds fascinating. Please do let us know how you get on.

          I use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite,the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
