Boots is very partial to sheeps fleece that is left in the fields - there is no way that he is going to give it back. He is also rather partial to sheeps poo - urrggghh it makes me sick even thinking about it.

Jake would eat anything. Most memorable was a contact 400 tablet and a latex glove. (not at the same time !)

Our cat (mrdinkle) likes marmite also, but he especially loves it when we make spaghetti and meatballs. Not for the meatballs - he likes the spaghetti.
Excuse me, could we have an eel? You've got eels down your leg.

My cat living with my ex loves marmite. Don't know if he still does it, but he had a bad habit of leaving the lid ajar and I often found her licking the inside of the jar. That and the butter. I would put the lids back on and stay shtum, as I told him enough times that she was helping herself! Didn't bother me as I hated marmite, tee hee!

Henry (pony) goes mad for bananas and he once mugged my for a Jack Daniels and coke on a pub ride.

Rosco P.Cat doesn't have any particular cravings. He's a fussy bugger and it's all I can do to get cat food in him, as he'd rather help himself to mice and rats outside!

my first dog liked raw brussels sprouts. My Mum used to keep sprouts in the draw at the bottom of the fridge, and when she was defrosting the fridge she left the drawer on the kitchen floor, katy helped herself!
Gemma likes wild raspberries, she often pickes her own, but quite likes me to pick them for her as she has occasionally picked an unripe one by mistake, and she knows I will choose the nice ones! Lady also likes the raspberries, but she doesn't care whether they are ripe or not!
For the few weeks of the wild raspberry season, walks are slower than usual while all 4 of us enjoy as many as possible.

This one isn't odd - just understandable! Mother had a springer spaniel cross black lab who was a lovely black long tailed/ curly haired sweetie of a dog. She used to sneak off to the veg plot in July / August and tenderly pick the lower growing ripe Doyenne de Comice pears, saunter off to the nearest shrub, hold the pear gently between her paws and relish the whole thing! She was the surest thing we got to telling when the pears were just ripe for eating!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

My pony used to snatch at wild blackberries whilst we used to hack along the grass verges/hedgerows when I was a kid...he'd do anything for a blackberry!!

My cats, Mia and Custard, go mad for Rocha pears. Won't touch any others but these are like cat nip to them. With much rubbing and purring until they've eaten the entire thing and are covered in pear juice!
Mia loves toast (dry or with humus) and cambozola cheese, the riper the better. I honestly think Custard would sell her soul for a constant supply of Chai tea (twinning’s only )

Henry and I often slow down our hacks in August, as we both browse the hedgerows.

Our first Pony would eat anything! He once stole a Ham sarnie from my Sister's hand and ate the lot. His favourite pastime was to stop at the Pub down the road on our way home and drink all the slops from the slops trays!

My dog would love newcastle brown ale and she would go nuts for a pickled onion but we had to put a stop to it when she got ill (not due to the booze and onions). She also had occasions when she would go potty for some best bitter and think that every can that came into the house was for her.
Her faves now are butternut squash, tomatoes and sweet potato. She also loves pumpkin when its in season. She also nicks the pods from the peas and cheekily steals the raspberries straight from the canes.
But she is an odd case and will eat just about anything I grow apart from sprouts and carrots. She wont touch propper dog food from tins!
Oh and by the way its mainly raw she likes best

our cat always loudly demands a slice of ham, week days only, of course(cats are clever things) when pack lunches are being made. She also likes cubes of cheese. Our bearded dragon goes crazy for a nice fat locust. (not nice to watch...)

Daisy loves licking out yoghurt pots, goes mad for veggie stew and gravy. She is also partial to chopped raw veg. She has also eaten some really horrid stuff too which we won't go into!! Her absolute favourite thing though is marmite on toast!!
