I walked into town this afternoon - saw a people carrier take a bend to fast and slide over the road and into a wall, 3 cars with large dents in the sides where others had slid into them, 2 cars trying to get a grip going up a (slight) hill and any number of lucky folk who slid but didn't actually hit anyone. Goodness knows what it will be like tomorrow morning!

Wide tyres, and rear wheel drive do not make a good combination in snow.

Well you see, I must disagree on this. You can get the bestest ever donuts using a rear wheel drive pick up truck. Just be careful they haven't left cones in the car park, as it might knock off the foglight. No reason.
