Thank you , thank you, thank you

What a lovely surprise. As I went out to see to chookies this am, the postie gave me a parcel. I took it with me feeling puzzled as I hadn't ordered anything, and thought I'd been unlucky with the draw, so it never crossed my mind.
Then I got home, stuck the kettle on and dived in...and I'd won!!!!!
Keeping ducks and geese by Chris and Mike Ashton. I'm delighted, a quick glance through shows that it just what I needed and more, with sections on selection, care and health, hatching rearing and a lovely section of both duck and goose breeds.
It will keep me quiet for a good while

PS, I could guarentee that after a couple of months with me Mr TS would return knowing exactly how lucky he is to have Mrs TS
Endless patience with livestock but none at all with men..and a definate 'sod off and do it yourself then' attitude to complaints.

I'm glad you liked them: I'd much rather share such good goodies with other Grapes than with the Oxfam shop
