    Congratulations, its such great news.
Nothing beats the feeling of being a granny, its just such a special time.
I have 4 grand kids and love them all to bits.
    Enjoy.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I've just spoken to my daughter and they are both well and being discharged any minute now, so I'll give them some time to settle at home (15 minutes should do it, I reckon ), then I'm off to do some real grannying. This isn't our first grandchild, but is the first (and she's still saying last) for this particular daughter. With any luck I'll get to bath him, I just love bathing babies and take full advantage of my daughters in the early days when they're not feeling too confident about doing it themselves. Is there any better scent than baby products? If there is I haven't found it.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Thank you everyone, I was just looking at my user info and realized that Alex was born exactly two years after I joined the vine, so two reasons to celebrate.

Congratulations! Grandchildren are wonderful, keep 'em coming!!! Looked after my four year old (today) grandaughter, Phoebe, and she tells me that her auntie is poorly with "Slime Threw".
