LOL I know what you mean, I've just had to dash outside and it's started raining again. It's wetter washing now than when it went outside. I didn't notice it was raining as I was on here catching up.

I wish, clay soil and paddocks are poached as they stayed out until yesterday when I decided enough is enough, will be spending their days in the manege until next Spring now

Quick update - it's now blowing a hooly and p*****g down with rain. Very dark, so probably more to come.

Still blowing a gale here. Eldest and his mate set off at 9 this morning to walk the south downs as training for the Pyranees! They were meant to go last night but postponed till today. They spent an hour this morning convincing themselves it was much brighter Hail started 10 mins after they left!
They will be back lunchtime tomorrow, God willing, and will prob be tired cold and hungry.

Latest from metcheck for the south:

In addition to the gales, a band of heavy and squally rain will move east, with the risk of hail, thunder and even the odd tornado.

                    TORNADO!

There was one last week a couple of miles from here

Well, for my weather read everyone else in Surrey's posts. I did leave hay in the open stable yesterday, as my little mare is a wuss, but they were out in the middle of the field this morning, hay almost untouched. One of my friends doesn't have stables for her horses and was feeling terrible, so I've told her how ungrateful my beasts are for theirs!

It's very dark outside and I'm in hibernation mode. I'm supposed to be going to a friend's house at 2pm, to to teach her and her dog clicker training (to improve recall). Right now I'm in severe hibernation mode!

GRRRRR - I got my wet towels in off the line, rinsed and spun them and put them back out in the sunshine - all of a sudden it went dark and started pelting down again! By the time I remembered the towels they were wetter than before I started. S*d it!
