I am still thinking!
My daughter Deborah (Debbie) was born 1957 so that should help me to twig but it doesn't. All I can think of is Artie or Sandie.

Perhaps I should have said that she didn't just mishear it, she misheard it COMPLETELY. It was 'Michael row the boat ashore' she thought it said 'Michael Rowe, Deborah Shaw,'..... *sigh*..... Hallelujah. Obviously lost for further inspiration I also have a younger brother called Michael. I well remember the look on her face when she saw the words written down for the first time at some church festival, but I was about 15 by then.
So, I was named after a song that has my name in it that doesn't actually have my name in it.
