It depends on how you set your security (under Settings, I believe). You can select your own friends: you don't have to add anybody you don't want to.

It's a myth that anybody and their aunt can stalk you on Facebook: you can block whoever you want, just like on here.

I like it: it's the only way I stay in contact with my family and far-flung friends. We none of us, have much money: phone calls and texts cost, but FB is free and you get pictures too

it sounds good,especialy the games,last year the grandchildren used to play games with me on messenger,but other things have taken over now their a bit older,am on the fence at moment,a bit like the swimming pool,do anything once in the water,but will not jump in ext,lol

I'm a big advocate of Bookface (as has been disgusted on here previously), but have to admit to blocking the games thingies - almost every update was about some game or another, and when you're as popular as me that means quite a lot of updates.
