John Noakes on BP, mid 70s?

I'd be hard pressed to pick which I love more between gardening and cooking and I don't really watch telly, so I reckon it's all good
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

I think it was in the 1974 annual......it could have been 75.

The UKTV Gardening Channel closed down and made way for something called Really - they said (in response to an email) that all the best gardening programmes would be showing on Home and Blighty. As far as I've seen, only Home Front (which is more of an outdoor makeover programme) and Garden Outsiders (same) are being shown, and then not very often. Though (credit where credit is due) just last weekend they ran (on Home) a couple of the Wartime Kitchen and Garden shows.

I miss Geoff Hamilton and those down to earth allotment guys on the Big Dig and Dig for Victory.

          And Carol Klein and Christine.

          And Chris Beardshaw.

          And the rest...

Is it the same run with the very annoying guy that criticised every thing, and kept notes during the meal!?

He'd have received a punch on the ear from me and a swift exit from my house in the bargain!

no, this lass says she is a healer, medium, psychic thingy etc etc - she is barking and sooo bl**dy rude to Poatman Pat

For someone who reckons she gets good thoughts and energy to pass on to us mere mortals - well, all I can say is the Angels must be having a huge larf
