    Drinking wasps

    I'm guessing that's not a good idea right? I'm happily sipping my way through � bottle of red - when, last mouthful of last glass.....A wasp!!!! in my glass - doing backstroke!!!!

    I had poured last drop into my mouth, felt 'something', spat 'something' out - a wasp, legs aflayling, would never have passed a breathalyser!!

      Cheers Piskie...you've just given me a panic attack!

      We had beers at the lottie t'uther week.I had to carry mine around with me at all times...thumb over the hole when I wasn't gulping it down ASAP.(so the wasps were supposedly in bed,but I weren't gonna take that risk!)

          Good job it was p*ssed as it could have been dangerous!

                I think Jilly Goolden would describe your red wine as a buzzy yellow and black flavor,its a crunchy number with a sting in the tail

                  Oh Piskie; what scrapes you get yersel into.

                  I have two little china dishes that are usually saved for drying out tomato seed.....but we use them to keep bugs out of our coffee/pimms when we go down the canal of an evening. Bladdy good idea, got it off here.

                      Did you at least get 'im to spit out the wine he drank? Wouldn't want to waste a drop...

                      oh and you shoulda charged him for the swimming lessons too
