    The gauge on the clock in the yard read 105F yesterday and 40% humidity.

    Today it's dropped to 100F but it's still too hot to put my kale in

          It's so horribly hot and humid here today. We've had a few light showers but they haven't brought any relief.

          I just spent an hour mucking & scrubbing the henhouse - deep joy! a sauna....

          Going for my second shower of the day now.

          OH has decided it's a perfect day for roast potatoes & sausages He can jolly well cook them!!

                Well now it is clear here and hot!!!!! bet it wont be linke that on the weekend when i want a BBQ!!!!!

                On the subject of food
                I'm cooking beer can chicken with beer battered onion rings with rice and peas

                      We've had some rain today , but you wouldn't think so to look out side..dry and really sticky again ..i was in the shower at half 9, i think i'm going to have another...i love the hot weather, when i can lay in it with a nice cold beer .. but i hate it when its this humid..

                        I hate hot weather. Anything above about 21C and I turn into Victor Meldrew.
                        Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

                            Just been to answer the door and in the shade (under the very old thick and heavy vine) on the terrace it's 37. Hate to think how hot it is out in the sun but even the locals are moaning about it now.

                                Just done the manual watering and it's STILL 34 in the shade but the meteo for the next few days if very wet and stormy - please, this time, hope it's correct
