Favourite Clothes for gardening

Depends on what I'm doing - currently I have a stock of T shirts with the sleeves ripped off (that's ripped, not cut), and a Lidl Bib and Brace Overall, which for �6 is quite superb. I absolutely detest having my arms covered - even in the depths of winter. Steel toecap boots or trainers - or wellies and that concludes the outside.
In the tunnel can vary from all the above to as little as a pair of boxers - clothes strewn everywhere as the temperature increases throughout the day.
However, I am going corporate and have T shirts and baseball caps with business logo etc arriving soon - just in time for customers coming in to buy new potatoes, peas etc. - my large market stall banner arrived today and will make it's first outing on Saturday.

I only have a small patch in my garden, so for anything other than hard landscaping, I just wear whatever I'm wearing that day - anything from a shirt and suit trousers if I've just come home from work, to a sundress, to my nightie.

My neighbours must think I'm crazy... they talk to each other but not to me.

If I wander into garden straight from work - I'll inevitably do bits whilst still in uniform (work for the most despised and hated bankers at the moment!) & have even turned over and emptied compost bin in my work skirt and shirt! Well, it was Friday and was destined for wash!

Like others if I'm out in garden as soon as I wake up - it can be nightie..or dressing gown and slippers - that's not unknown!

3/4 jeans, either that size or cut down, strappy vest top thingy, cheapy crocs which means my legs are very tanned from halfway down my feet, to my knees, plus little bits on the top of my feel from tanning through the holes in the crocs, looks funny
occasionally a hat and sunglasses.

torn cords, wellies, worn out farmers shirt....if I am lucky sometimes the Sally army van stops when I am walking home and they give me a mug of soup and a roll.

Usually as little as possible, shorts (cut off tracksuit bottoms) and a pair of suede type slippers. Tee shirt if I feel the sun burning. OH thinks I have a better tan than if I'd gone to Tenerife (would have prefered to have got it in Tenerife).

3/4 khaki cotton trousers, baggy T shirt and crocs with huge rose pattern on them Layers and fleeces if cold. Jamas first thing to open the greenhouse if Mr H forgets. Nipping off to get the thought of bob and HW in thongs outta my head!

A pair of old blue jeans and a selection of old polo shirts that nearly fit. When it's cooler I wear an old fleece as well.
