Mmmm......Meatballs

There is something about Ikea, I think its the meatballs, or it might be the large packs of dimes, whatever it is its always a joy to leave.

Ikea meatballs make fab camping food. We take them frozen in the cold box and then just shove them in a huge pan (for 6 of us) with a Bertolli tomato sauce and let them cook slowly. Meanwhile the other pan has spaghetti cooking in it.

Thankfully, as I cook, I don't have to wash up!

I love Ikea but only go first thing in the morning during term-time.

If you don't get any from the other peeps Amanda I could call in but not sure when it would be, I have to persuade the O.H. to take me & he hates going there although he does love the cheap hotdogs & ice creams! I got the same net curtains last year, used some for the windows & used the offcuts in the garden, used some the other week to line aquatic pond baskets, very versatile & cheap!

My OH is fighting in Glasgow in a couple of weeks but if I send him into Ikea to get net curtains he may come back with purple voile or similar, bless - it's safer to stick with Grape Power.

Cor thats forward planning.....we used to go out and if it went off we would fight...but we would'nt pre plan it.

ikea nets eh. fab idea! might take a trip down myself. my OH is always naggin he wants to go and i resist. this time i might "reluctantly" say yes so i can get nets on the cheap! other my local market has a fabric stall and might have some even cheaper
