Me and my mum have made a cake for the Girls Brigade McConnell Award, its was a garden theme cake competition this year

Wow . I never learnt to do cakes, but used to love looking through my mum's cake decorating books when I was younger - this one looks just as good as those.

Sigh - I wish they did things like that around where I live. I'm a great baker and decorator, florist and seamstress.... My talents are wasted!

well done it looks great,what are the decorations made from,are they brought ,or home made,

all homemade from ready to roll icing.... add food colouring and shape, used you tube to get tips as to how to make flowers.... they good hard after a bit letters were shop bought
