Another stonking day here...fantastic...it's really lifted my spirits- and energy levels!!
Managed to dig a bit more- but had to stop cos my broken foot from mid November started to complain !! ( well actually I think the rest of me was more than nackered- so just needed the pain to make me stop).

Didn't get to work on my plots yesterday (shame), got volunteered to pick up a shed for the boy child's new garden. Then he needed some heavy bags for where he's cutting back his lawn to lay a decent sized patio, so called into the lottie for a supply of compost bags.

Then he rang and asked if he could borrow the small wheelbarrow. Another trip to the lottie.

Cleaned out the pond and tidied up round that.

He came over for the barrow about 7pm just as we were about to have dinner. So I gave him my car keys and told him to help hiself.

A neighbour knocked at 10:30 to say the tailgate was up on my car. Went out, and sure enough it was open, doors unlocked and the glove box had been rifled.


Great being a Dad.

Same with me! sitting in the office, looking at the sun thinking what I could be doing in my garden!

Can I just ask what is a lunch break please We don't get one of them in this place. It is frowned upon to take a regular lunch break the bos is however not too bad, if just now and then any of us want to nip off a little early for a doctors appointment or other good reason!

Oh dear, now do I miss at that free lunchtime overtime people do in the UK? Or working late because it's the thing to do?

I've been out in the garden all day, short break for lunch, done loads and it's been gloriously hot, regular drinks and a few honey bikkies but wall to wall gardening.

Bliss - and yes, I wear a hat all the time, casquette or panama in the summer but short sleeves and no need for a body warmer at all today - and the meteo for tomorrow is equally good

Oh yes Tony..........think I may even be getting a few freckles after today!!!!

.....might need a wheelchair after the effort put into digging though!!!

.....then for some silly reason I went to yoga ( to meet the locals!!!)...and could hardly keep up!!!....boy oh boy!!!!
