my sister had a cocker spaniel that after spending a lot of money on him to try to get his temper right had to be put down, it was too much interbreeding and he was put down, he was a beautiful dog just couldnt do anything with him, the last straw was when he bit my niece.
maybe its the same with your rabbit.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
and ends with backache

Um are we talking about the lady who sent you the email or the rabbit hereOriginally posted by lynda66 View Post
..... she was evil from a baby ... i do think she has a mental problem
I have had experience with a mad bunny as a child, we had to take ours to the vet as well, we were all getting anaemic and the bite scars took too long to heal. We'd had him from 'new', he just hated everyone - the other rabbit we got at the same time was absolutely fine and became a much loved house rabbit. What I'm trying to say here is two bunnies, same upbringing - nothing we did, nothing you did.Nell

Coz it is a pet and you have a duty of care (or some other such pc nonsense). Was listening to Radio 2 a few weeks ago and some bloke got in a lot of trouble for releasing a hamster or some such critter into the wild because it kept biting his kids or something similar!! Now if it was a wild rabbit (sounds pretty wild to me though) that was for the pot, then I guess it would be different.Originally posted by Snadger View PostNo?????????????why?

Lynda, how sad. I 'm really sorry. Poor thing (both of you). At least Psycho had some time with you and was looked after and cared for. Try not to feel guilty - though it's almost inevitable that you will. You've tried so hard and in her own way, I'm sure Psycho knew she was loved. Maybe it really is for the best.I don't roll on Shabbos

Sorry to hear you had to come to that decision Lynda, but let's face it, it really is an evil little devil and the stress he must be causing you .......................... You really are doing the right thing for the bunny as well as yourself (and the cats, the dog and the chooks!) {{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

Lynda we all know you tried your best.
When I was a kid I have memories of a white rabbit we had called Sid. He was just pure evil.
In the end he had to be put down too, just too nasty.
Was the right decision for all concerned, as with PsychoBob Leponge
Life's disappointments are so much harder to take if you don't know any swear words.

Ah Lynda that is such a shame! After all your hard work as well!
Best to let her go in peace to bunny Zion, where she can rest easy and be normal
Nothing else I can say as others have said it all. {{ hugs }} to you, it is the right thing to do!

Love like you never loved before!
