it's very very freezing today, suppose not helped by no sleep last night and being out in the garden most of the afternoon trying to get the chicken house finished, just can't seem to get warm, even with fire on full, a blanky and hottie bottle ..... still got loads of snow, had enough of winter now

Very wet very windy couldnt get out of the car the door kept shutting on me. No snow all gone, school open, dont know what all the fuss was about lol ( only joking ) hope you get warm soon.

I'm sat with three wooly jumpers & a granny blanket on my knees....so not too cold here!!(at least not for me)The way I look at it is...we're in Feb now...seed packets say we can start sowing now & by the time seedlings turn into ickle plants(not long),it'll be warm enough to start acclimatising them to outside...& a couple of weeks later spring will be here!!!Get sowing some seeds...watch them grow...& before you know it Spring will have sprung!!

That's because you keep going outside.

It will be spring soon - hand on in there. Even my chives that I sowed in a pot outdoors, and were under snow yesterday - have sprouted - so it must be spring soon.

i've got seedlings all over my kitchen, i know spring will be here soon, just wish it would hurry up, it'll definitely snow tomorrow, it always does on robs birthday, think theres only been 2 years it hasn't ........ at least i don't need to do a BBQ tomorrow nught though cos he aint coming home

it was 2 degrees in the hallway (the boiler man moved the temp gauge when he serviced the boiler) ...... before i put the heating on ....... ie f****** cold lol, the snow has all turned to iced snow now ...... my parents are southerners, must have caught their softiness

I was so cold inbed I couldn't sleep, andI was too cold to do the sensible thing - ie get back out, get socks on and cover me up with dressing gown. So I sufffered instead, doh!

It's 4 inches of the white stuff here today.
