I've just had a non ferrous anthropoid knocking on my door looking for a welder.

i have to go out now to take doggies for a walk, no postie yet..........was watching the neighbour over the road trying to get his bike up the hill (hes still trying) then got binoculars out and saw Lynda sending son out to borrow milk and cream lol..........

Postie did quite well... arrived earlier than he normally does . Bin men didn't come . Don't have a milkman but heard lots of stories about them battling through the snow on the radio when I attempted to get into work.

Ours have 4x4's round 'ere, so milk delivered at 5am as normal, post by lunch-time
