Annoyed at missing Seedy Sunday

I'm annoyed with myself for forgetting that today is Hove's Seedy Sunday. I had intended to make it a family outing for the day, with husband and daughter going off to do stuff in town and me revelling in the seeds. I forgot until now though, and now it would be a real rush to get down there and back as we are invited over to the neighbours' for early dinner. When will I learn to mark these things down?

I think I meant to confirm with hubby before booking him up for the day, so therefore I didn't book it for me in the calendar either. Next time I'll just play dictator and put him down for it.
