My allotment means a lot to me
I grow a lot in it you see.
Carrots, parsnips
and beetroot too,
shallots and pots
and varieties new.
I like to sit and sip my tea
and chat and laugh with my family.
They each have a little plot
and love to tend when it�s hot.
And oh the wonder and the fun,
when we go home when day is done,
and put fresh veggies on the plate.
Our healthy, happy appetites to sate.
