has anyone got one of those thermometers you stick on the outside of the window??

are they accurate, or does the heat loss from a double glazed window raise it?

I have one of those on my greenhouse and we have a thermometer on the outside wall. I always felt that a thermometer on the window might be affected by dropping/increasing temps from the house.

came in at 5.40pm and fog was coming down, took mum home at 9pm frost on ground and foggy, reckon I'll be scrapping the car tomorrow

Well by this morning 7am the frost had all gone! As day has gone on its got colder again and its frosty now, expected -2 tonight, wandering if it will be there in the morning or get warmer during the night like it has done the past two nights!
