Orange hands!!!..help!!

I've just been cutting up a chestnut squash and saving the seeds, and when I came to wash my hands I've noticed they are stained orange!!!- nails and all...and tomorrow night is our first 'posh night out' with the locals..looks like I've got false tan in the nails and palms of the hands and fingers....I've scrubbed and scrubbed...now what????:

try bicarb rub a little in your hands then rinse it should help

try bleach, baby oil, turps, swarfega, sugar in washing up liquid, washing powder ...... individually lol ...... oh and next time wear rubber gloves

....no bleach here ( septic tank)...nor bicarb of soda ( use SR flour!!!)

You'll have to set a trend and wear posh gloves all evening How about washing some clothes by hand? Might be worth a try

My advice is to cover the rest of the bits of you that will be 'on show' with the same orange stuff, say NOTHING, and if anyone asks, either give them that haughty, French 'you silly worm, have you just crawled from under a stone' look implying it's them that are seeing things, or tell them it's the latest craze in Blighty and see how long before they all copy.....

Hmmmm, biological washing powder seems to work for all sorts, so the hand-washing idea isn't so daft...

Failing that, try covering it up with proper fake tan??!!

Salt scrub, bicarb and lemon juice - just hope you haven't any cuts on your hands!

Salt scrub has helped a bit ( and yup..it stung like crazy)

Washing powder???good idea ...will give that a go in a moment

...not got any fake tan...but an interesting concept

.....long elegant gloves...not got any BUT I do have my sewing machine here and a large piece of red felt ( Hmmmm..maybe orange hands would be less conspicuous????)

....no lemons- just clementines...would that work???

...love your idea janeyo...I could also try and distract them by talking in my cr@p French about M Gere the French plumber
