OH spotting the Rhubarb shooting through today! Also might have had our first success at overwintering Spring Cabbage but he didn't take a pic of that.

I spotted my rhubarb today too!
Bad OH for not taking a pic of your overwintered spring cabbage, that's a major success!
Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!

Loudest morning chorus I've ever heard this morning. And Mr Snoop indulged me by coming out and listening to it too. While Missie ran up and down and jumped about on a beam like she's Simone Biles and Jack tried to work out how he could get up there with her.

Having our first BBQ of the year! Not at lunchtime as planned but in the evening…so we ate indoors in front of the log fire….but it was still a bbq and OH thoroughly enjoyed doing it

Dawn chorus for us was 7.10 am our time( 6.10 uk time) so it’s getting earlier and earlier! Nice to wake up with a smile on your face.

Spotting a little field mouse on the plot - it ran super fast

Did feel a little sorry as we disturbed him when uncovering one of the beds but I'm but he'll have no trouble finding a nicer place to live.

I have three happy things today:
                            1. Finally getting my hands properly dirty in some lovely compost
                            2. The lovely sunrise pic posted by greenishfing in the chat thread this morning
                            3. Noticing all the 'over wintered' grapes finding their way back here to the vine now that we're into Spring & all getting properly gardening again

That our blow-away didn't tip over in the strong wind last night There are lots of things sown/growing in there now so I would have been devastated if it had.
