    If you go onto the Land Registry site, for a small fee you can get an outline plan of a property (even if you don't own it). I've done it for this one although it's not mine. I'm not sure if it's to scale though, but it should give you an idea of shape etc? And with the Google Earth thing, can you work out the proportions by looking at your own place at the same level of zoom?

      No need, Google maps has a scale bar on the bottom right. At the highest magnification it's 10 feet.
