This was a little cottage looked a bit scruffy but I loved the garden (needed a bit of weeding). And one from your childhood Nicos

I actually remember Steam trains!….I used to walk over a cinder bridge when visiting my granny and when the steam trains passed below we would hold our breath . I’d try and catch sparks on my woollen cardie and blow on them to get them to glow more

When we first moved to Cardiff in the 1980’s we used to visit a steam train graveyard on Barry Island. We climbed all over the rusty engines. So pleased that many were sold on and renovated.

You've just brought back a forgotten memory of travelling to the next town on a steam train in the guards van with my mother, and younger sister in her pram surrounded by lots of wicker baskets full of pigeons.

I know its hard to believe but I can remember Steam as well but surprisingly, its Mrs Grief thats the train fanatic This was a day we spent on the West Somerset railway (which was at the bottome of the garden at Watchet) and we jumped on there, went to Minehead had a coffee and the best bacon and egg Butty I've had in years both scalding hot ! and then back on the train thru to the other end at Bishops Lydeard (nr Taunton) another coffee and a few snacklets and then back to watchet. It was a relaxing day if nothing else.
