      Yipppeee!... well done Bren
Clearly not just a pretty plant pot eh?

That must surely be the perfect excuse to open a bottle of fizz ...non?

No fizz in this house, but I did have a relaxing brew.

Can't understand why google had wiped my profile, it's not like I use 2 or 3 different ones. It must be a glitch in their update. I hate it when things update themselves automatically without warning.

It's a pain importing to chrome compared to Edge. I'm using edge now and just imported the bookmarks I recovered from chrome simply by clicking "import from chrome" - whoosh, job done, no file saving blah, blah, blah.

A similar thing happened when I updated my wife's Macbook and Firefox automatically updated.
Eventually got everything back but it was so time consuming working through the help facilities.
Every browser seems to have their own way of syncing bookmarks. I always have at least two. Perhaps an easy way would be to duplicate bookmarks on them and just import them if things go belly up.

You can email the bookmarks to yourself then placing it in your archived/saved stuff folder.

That's interesting. I used Edge for a while but got fed up with it for some reason and went back to Chrome. Wonder if Edge might be better now. Will check it out and see. Thanks for the feedback, mothhawk.

But to have lost all/ most of them is soooo disheartening.
