I have been growing Jack Edwards Pea beans for many years the problem is they only stay dormant for 1 year the reason they are not that easily available commercially https://hsl.gardenorganic.org.uk/see...%20very%20well. I think that the majority of Beans have a short life2 to 3 years

Having said that I just dug up my Dads old book circa 1930 viability in years Broad 2-4 Dwarf 3 Kidney 3-8 Runner 3
