So you were that close to Chris YumYum Beardshaw, and you DIDN'T bundle him into the back of your car? What were you thinking?

I met CB at Hampton Court a couple of years ago. Friend took pics (from a discrete distance) and emailed to my best friend who is completely obsessed! So was SO jealous. I would post the pics, but I look like something that went thru' a hedge backwards :-)

Gentle nudge people, this is on tonight.

I think Nick Knowles is fantastic - I'm sure he was on a morning programme once where they visited/broadcasted from a hospital. Very warm and caring chap it seems.

Love the banter they have on DIY SOS.

That would have been "City Hospital" HW. DIY SOS is one of my favourite programs and that "Mission Africa" stuff he did last year was very good too.

Piskie and other female NK fans may find this link of interest DOWNLOAD NICK KNOWLES GOODIES although personally it made me laugh out loud.

Just finished watching the first episode and enjoyed it. It was like a wildlife gardening version of DIY SOS. Ellie Harrison is rather nice

Well, I really enjoyed it (and not just because of the very tasty Ellie lady). One of the best garden related programmes I've seen for a while (is it ok to admit I've gawn off GW a bit since Montys' departure?)

Nick Knowles is a great presenter in my humble onion.

Looking forward to the next episode.

totally agree Wayne, all three are a lovely mix.

Although it won't replace GW and I think all peeps should give Toby more of a chance, for my money he is more like St. Geoff than anyone is. Monty was (is, I still read his columns) lovely and I miss him but others will be and are as good.

My problem with Toby is that he just doesn't inspire me - and I'm eating my words here, but Joe is getting a little tedious.
