Want to swap? I have been trying to grow courgettes for 3 years now and have harvested a total of 4! We don't eat much lettuce here and I have loads of packets of lettuce seeds (lost somewhere since Madmax cleared up the shed) so don't really need the free packOriginally posted by HayleyB View PostI decided GYO have a warped sense of humour cause I got Courgettes - green bush same as my 25 plants this year. No I will not be using them.Last edited by shirlthegirl43; 07-11-2008, 03:46 PM.Happy Gardening,

If you buy it every month Jackie, it actually works out cheaper to subscribe. Plus, it's lovely getting it through the letter box. Check out the special deals.Originally posted by jackie j View PostI buy mine in the shops and as of yesterday no sign of any mags, one day when I can afford it I will subscribe.

so I'll need some sacrificial green lettuce then. I keep reading that red lettuce are less prone to slug damage than green, but maybe you need both side by side to give them the choiceOriginally posted by HayleyB View PostFoxhillgardener - I found slugs didn't touch my lollo rosso just ate the green letuuces next to them
