Cannae be done. If you've followed Doctor Who for many maaaaaany years (as my OH has ) then you'd know that the Doctor only has 11 incarnations, and David Tennant was the 11th. So I reckon they're going to have to ditch the Doctor and get his daughter to be a sub for the next series.

David Tennant is the 10th Dr and the Dr can regenerate 12 times for a total of 13 incarnations( MY son is the biggest fan EVER!)

Having a female Dr Who is like having a female 007. Wrong. Plain wrong. By all means let her become some timelord in her own series, but not as 'The Dr'.
