Blasted Cold

I have got yet another Cold this is the second one in three weeks and its a bad one. Thank god for painkillers, Olbas oil and decongestants!! Has anyone else been struck down?

Not yet; but I did have bronchitus all summer and only seeing the real back of it now - that's from July 18th - 10 weeks now.

How many different types of cough mixes can one person get through in one summer??? Plenty is the answer.

I have been pretty poorly this week, Madmax and I took the cold together but he shook it off really quick. I am only starting to feel better today and I am sure I am going to spend the night coughing - off to Boots to beg a bottle of Codeine linctus tomorrow.

I am just getting over one, it was sitting rather nastily on my chest but seems to be easing.

I think its time I went and layed down again, i've only had this thing for 24hrs but it already feels like a week but thats cause the OH had it first and I had to live with that. Just hoping it stays off my chest as I have asthma and if it goes there I will probably end up in hospital. All I want to do now is shift it to go to the lottie and start to prepare it for winter.

Sounds like I should have tried that one! I wouldn't have cared how bad I felt anyway.
Had a rotten one for most of last week, but thankfully its on its way out now.

Home-made limoncello is a good tonic for colds. It dried up my snot, anyway! Hope you feel better soon!
