[quote=Hilary B;276242] I wake up around 3 am needing the loo, and often can't get back to sleep afterwards. quote]

3am exactly for me, night after night, it's like some sort of internal alarm clock goes off

There's a pot of tea made if anyone wants one

You might call it a 'water clock'
If that's "builder's tea", I'll have one ta! (the fancy stuff is wasted on me)

i don't have tea, coffee and coke after about 5 because of the caffine, drink camomile tea, i have a notebook next to my bed so i can write the things on my mind down this helps me worry less and i also put lavender oil on my pillow.

Finding it much worse now being pregnant, fat and got restless leg syndrome.

If i really can't sleep i just give up and go downstaris to read else i get really frustrated and annoyed which just makes it worse.
I have dyslexia so please excuse my spelling and grammar

If I can't sleep it's normally because something is bugging me & I won't sleep until I have sorted it out! I find doing something relaxing will eventually send me off - I take a sugarcraft course & have been known to be in the kitchen at 330am piping royal icing roses or making sugarpaste jasmine!

I ended up moaning about it in a meeting yesterday, and someone suggested it's probably a women of a certain age thing. The whole meeting got highjacked and ended up talking about whether or not I'm menopausal

              Guess that's a yes then!
