          The knees are too small to be a successful outcome. Either go for the channel, and hit the bullseye, or aim generally in the leg area, with a roundhouse sweep.

              I had a contract with T Mobile through Carphone Warehouse. The 2 guys in my local store were really good , informed about the product and knew how to work the phones that they were trying to sell.Over the course of the contract I was in and out for memory cards , car holders ,car chargers etc and noticed that they were losing their "spark" .
              Found out that they were not getting the support from "above" and were being asked to push services that they wouldn't honestly and truthfully recomend. On the last visit both of them had left and after some less than tactfull questioning of the remaining assistant found that they had taken a job with 3 Mobile a few doors down.
              It was coming near the end of the contract with T Mob so I called in to see them and the deal they offered me could not be touched by any one else (O2, Vodaphone, Car Ware,Fones for you and Orange) so I moved to 3 and took the optional insurance on the phone (£5.99 / month) 3 weeks ago the screen got smashed - rang insurance and the phone was upgraded (N95v1 - N95 8gb) and replaced with a brand new one in less than 24 hours.
              There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

                If they refuse, just mention trading standards, you'll soon see how quick they sort things. Contact trading standards too just to let them know the problem of a sub-standard repair.

                  Well done Wayne.
                  A lot of customers just don't like to make a fuss, so shops get away with poor service/shoddy goods.

                  I just got a load of stuff delivered by Tesco ... apart from the substitutes, all my apples arrived bruised, and they were Gala not Braeburn anyway. A quick email, and I get my £5 apple bill refunded.

                  Ditto Argos ... I know flatpack is sh1t, but it's all we can afford right now. However, I expect parts to be correctly labelled! I had two shelves marked E, and none marked A. I figured it out. The bookshelves were worse... all the dowels snapped as soon as I touched them, so had to be glued together before insertion in said bookcase. (the pilot holes were smaller than the dowels). With one of the door screws, the pilot hole was larger than the screw, so it just fell out. What a nightmare. I got my delivery charge (£6) refunded. It doesn't make up for cr@ppy goods though; they may be cheap, but they should still be fit for purpose.

                    Thats the problem with flat pack two sheds, they only test build one every so often, so there is no guarantee it will either fit, or that you have all the bits you need.

                      However, I have rarely had a problem with Ikea flat pack and have always had the bits required and if put together well, last pretty well too.

                        Did you know Ikea will post out free of charge some of the smaller missing bits from packs.I too haven't had any missing bits ( damaged-yes) for years!

                          My phone (under warranty and contract) packed up. The local store wouldn't accept it, it had to be posted to them but no replacement would be issued.

                          It couldn't be repaired so they eventually sent a new one after 3 weeks. New one broke down, posted it back to them, after 3 weeks we chased it up and they told us it couldn't be repaired. I asked them if it would be possble to send me a different model as there was obviously a problem with my particular model. 'No', I was told 'You'll only be issue another model if it packs up 3 times'!!!!!

                            Well, went into the shop with LadyWayne at the weekend and she suggested that I'd be met with "Saturday staff" who were likely to be even more bereft of the braincells necessary to function fully as a human being.

                            Anyway, walked through the door and saw two people behind the counter - one of the girlies (who's jaw is permanently in danger of snagging on her shoe laces) and a dude. I headed for dude and was pleased to note as I got within reading range that his badge named him as "Dude McDude* - Branch Manager"

                            I presented Dude with my phone and briefly explained the situation. I was met with "The phone came back in that condition? That's shocking!" Eureka!! I have found the ancient and mythical empathetic and semi-intelligent lifeform otherwise known as Branch Manager. Call the papers!

                            Dude continued to assist by taking the phone, jotting down several things and then informing me that they will indeed order a replacement phone and it should arrive on their Monday delivery (I didn't query it at this juncture - being happy to have a conversation with a person with more than 10 words in their vocabulary)

                            Here we are on Tuesday awaiting the call....
