if it is to be a permanent arrangement, then she should claim the child benefit, and child tax credit, and i'm not sure, but may be worth looking into fosterers allowance ?? as she is in effect fostering, she may also be entitled to some form of payment from the dss as she has unexpected expenses, but she will have to look into this as i'm not sure how it works as a voluntary arrangement, her father should still give her money as he will have to if the csa get involved..... she should talk to someone from welfare benefits or citizens advice, to find out what exactly she is entitled to.
