Steady now, our pale skin isn't used to being flashed at the elusive sun.

Well even this far north we have had better weather Amanda. It has only topped 19 degrees but it has been very warm and sunny even though we have a northerly wind. Set to break for the weekend though and then we'll be back in the single figures again!

My OH calls me a reptile as I`m always cold, but for the last few nights I`ve been sitting in the livingroom with the patio doors open. I`ve got my nice and warm newly knitted chunky cardi on and its quite pleasent.
Prohaps I`m trying to acoustom myself as we are of to Scotland on hoilday next Saturday.

Very autumnal, the leaves are changing colour on the trees...............ah well, we've had the obligatory 3 DAYS of summer.

It'll soon be time to get the toboggan out!

I know what you mean Amanda. The weather has been generally good, but last couple of days the temp has dropped and lashing rain. The wood burner is on and doing a good job - but pray for my outdoor toms.

Sorry, the bad weather is my fault.
I've just spent a miserable week camping in Cornwall & Dorset. Torrential rain and gales. We had to be dragged out of the campsite by a tractor this morning. Never been so glad to be home
