What have been your harvesting highs and lows so far this season?

    High: harvesting first ever cabbage. So tender and sweat.

    Low: Finding out my soil had a pH of about 4.5 AFTER I planted things!

      HIGHS:- Runner beans, spring onions, potatos, carrots, herbs, tomatoes
      LOWS:- lettace - slugs got them, Broad beans - blackfly.
      WAITING AND HOPING:- sweetcorn, cabbage, cellery, onions, - all looking good,
      I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

        Highs:- Runner beans, climbing french beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, garlic, lettuce.

        Lows:- Celeriac - most have bolted,
        peppers - something ate most of the leaves
        second sowing of radish - cabbage root fly
        potatoes - just not many on a root.
        I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
        Now a little Shrinking Violet.

          HIGHS...Winter veg was good, carrots have been brill, beetroot , turnips, corgettes and new potatoes all in abundance and great. Parsnips looking A1.

          LOWS...summer cabbage.

          WAITING AND HOPING..Runner beans just started, the tomatoes , peppers , ps broccoli, collis, winter swede, kale , main crop tatties, xmas new potatoes and winter swede.

            Highs - Cucumbers, Lettuce, Chard, New potatoes, Peas, Broad Beans, Spinach, Rocket, Courgettes, Shallots - pretty much everything - I still get a kick out of growing veg, even on the larger scale.

            Lows - Fench Beans (Sclerotinia)

            Middle Ground - Carrots, Spring Onions - I need rain !!!!!!!!

                highs - so far getting everything to germinate and grow!! tasted so far : carrots, beetroot, lettuce, toms, runner beans, rocket, mizuna, spring onions, radish, coriander, parsley, strawberries, sweetpeas

                lows - think i am growing marketmore cuces in a greenhouse, so now need to move outside!!!! slugs & snails in love with my garden!

                still yet to taste - cuces, brussels, onions, caulis, parnsips, squash, pumpkins, sweetcorn, cabbage, leeks, jalapenos, sweet peppers, late potatoes.

                  Highs: carrots! never had so many (grown under fleece this year); direct-sown lettuce & Cylindra beetroot, just keeps coming; spuds are huge & prolific

                  Lows: chard - it just keeps bolting. Ditto Coriander.
