I saw it surface over on KG Forum and it is now in the provincial press, as opposed to local or national, at Gardeners warned over manure poison - Yorkshire Post

Reads like an organic gardeners nightmare.

Worries me a bit and I'm not organic.

Oh pants. I've never thought to worry about the manure that goes on our plot. It's always been Horse manure not co, but still....

As has been mentioned, could have far reaching consequences. Very worrying that this sort of thing can happen even with all the regulations in force.

Gosh....I wonder if that's what happened to our manure????
DEFRA were no help at all when we contacted them before!

That's why I asked T-Lady if she'd used manure on her struggling toms. I hadn't read this article but was aware that things can travel 'through' a horse or cow and still be active in the manure.
