Thank you HF! Got a couple of friends round for lunch so been and treated us to some tesco sarnies, pringles, and fresh cream cakes (diet on hold for a dayOriginally posted by Headfry View Post
) I also picked up six bottles of the cheap red lambrusco which I like (I have very unrefined tastes! 
) but no I wont drink them all tonight - we have a bbq on Saturday so will save a couple!!! (OK 5 
) for then. I am using my birthday as an excuse but I do miss having all my friends and family round for socials - quite often the improptu parties were the best, its not the same now travel arrangements at least have to be made first!
Cannot wait to pick up Hannah from school later - have promised to save my pressies till then (boy what self control I have these days!
) Mind you it may be that Daniel gets there first! - he is being really sweet, keeps saying Happy Birthday and was trying to get me to get a Hot Wheels or Bob the Builder cake!
