    hi Marion

I was in the same boat as you a couple of years ago. I worked for the same firm for 20 years and was made redundant out of the blue. Its wierd at first, but you just have to look at it as a new challenge that life throws at you. I got myself another job after about three months off, but felt that this new job was not for me and resigned. A year later I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Now I am over the worst, chemo is a distant memory and I am throwing myself (and a few veggies !) into my garden and I am thoroughly enjoying it.
Just give yourself a bit of TLC and recovery time.

Don't look back, just look forward, things will work out for the best I am sure. Hope your dad is okay, if he is in hospital he's in the best place.

    take care
    Littlewin

I think you need a little hug and reassurance that things will improve and especially when you are feeling better making things grow and enjoying your produce when the news comes on and the whole firm has gone bust and no one has got a penny and it works out the manager/boss was a cheating so and so!!!! see you feeling better already............(god i hope you got a payout!)

as i always say "what goes around comes around", it my take a while, but you will look back and say thank goodness for that!!

Hope your back is better soon and you can get to the garden in the summer with a lovely tan .

Thanks Claire72 - prior to last week i had been viewing it that they put me on 'gardening leave' so that's what I did, gardening . Things just got to me this last week. Feeling much better now and looking foward to next week, things to do, places to go, weeds to chop, seeds to sow....

Oh my gosh Littlewin, that's awful, but I am so glad you've got through it all. Isn't it amazing how theraputic gardening is.
