I went into the nursery to get one packet of cosmos seeds and some tool hanger thingies; and came out with what I wanted and another 11 packets of seeds.
It's not like i haven't already got enough now is it???
I found one thing out this weekend, my OH kept saying he didn't want celeriac until Jamie Bloomin' Oliver cooked it and I found out it was because he thought I was talking about Fennel [as they both used to come in the vege box]; so at least I am now allowed to grow celeriac...but that only explains one extra packet of seeds.
Now have to go and hide them all and pretend I had them all the while.
Anyway - on another note; I am doing my Photography A Level [title; Links and Connections] and I am going to submit some medium format colour film images taken on my holga camera - all of plants/flowers/veg that I have grown from seed. I have attached the first one [scanned in so not sure of the size].
The great thing about the Holga is that the centre is in focus, and everything else is blurred and distorted; I love it. I've already taken poppies [to be scanned later this week] and I need to take another couple of films this week; but I am really pleased with this first one.
I'd be interested in your thoughts on the first one attached; I like to include feedback and comments so that I can improve - but note this technique is supposed to have blurry edges!!! It's as far away from high end digital SLR billion mega pixel style as it can be - without going totally pinhole.
