Sorry if this is seen as blatant self-promotion, but I'm chuffed to bits!

I was offered the opportunity to write a 400 word article for a suppliment in one of the large construction industry trade magazine (sounds grand already doesn't it ) - Construction News - watch out for it on Who's Line is it Anyway.

I digress, I've just been sent over the draft for me to proof read it and then it's going in the magazine! It's my first published work.

Lol, sorry wellie I was being facetious in that Construction News is likely to send most people to sleep, but for me it's an interesting read, especially when they start talking Hand Arm Vibration, concrete frames and curtain walling. Or as in the case of my piece - health & safety in concrete lifting.

*gives reader a prod* oi, wake up!

No he works for a company called Flamco, they do all sorts of heating & ventilating stuff, sealed systems & expansion vessels etc. & for the last few years he's been doing the pipe hanging clips. His company is based in Holland & Germany & he works for the U.K. branch. I'll get him to bring his copy of C.N. home from work so I can have a read!

Ooooooh! Curtain walling - I had to listen to a lecture on that when I was doing a Business Diploma, and howse about Cable-Stayed Bridges as opposed to Suspension Bridges.
