You lot couldn't be better! I would be a very lonely person without the vine (oh dear, it's all out now)!Originally posted by scarey55 View PostShirl, you sure that's the Seeburg and not us
The Seeburg jukebox wasn't played enough when Madmax was in Portugal and would not play properly over Christmas (and I got told off). It has been better recently but still plays some tracks over and throws some without playing them. Tonight seems to be doing it the world of good though.Happy Gardening,

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

It's very interesting seeing other people's musical tastes!
I have concluded that SBP might be slightly older than I'd assumed (or just has better taste than me
), SarzWix is probably younger than me, there's just no accounting for Bubblewrap and Shirl has a fab music selection!
In a minute I'll get all maudlin and start asking for Joy Division and Love Will Tear Us Apart

Mmmmm, sounds good! Although in some ways I hate winter, I do really love the sort of food you eat - soups, and stews, and mash, and yorkshire puds, etc...mmmmOriginally posted by bubblewrap View PostTalking food we had ox tail done in the slow cooker with onions and carrots,
did potatoes & green beans(allotment grown) to go with it!

Thank you for the compliment. However, I simply have access to a superb music selection due to Madmax's jukebox hobby (which he hopes to make into a business). My personal musical taste is quite diverse to say the least - I was a dancer until I was 19 (ballet, tap, jazz, you name it) and therefore like many different musical styles. For housework, I love Meatloaf - Bat out of Hell - LOUD, which would not count as taste for many. I enjoy soft rock, swing, blues, some jazz, a bit of punk and just about anything else thrown in for good measure. Love that Joy Division track too.Originally posted by Seahorse View PostIt's very interesting seeimng other people's musical tastes!

Lol! Probably both! I'm 48 and got my eclectic musical taste from my older brother, who would come home from Uni with strange records, and introduced me to John Peel on the radio....Originally posted by SeahorseIt's very interesting seeing other people's musical tastes!
