Proof I was cute once upon a time

A discussion at work resulted in me bringing in some photos of me as a baby. Just thought I'd share, what with all the posts regarding babies and birthdays. Plus I thought it might get a few "ahhhs"

This is me at 3 days old being held by my cousin.

Yeah, that's Mum. I grew up in various shades of brown, yellow and orange it seems. No wonder they're my least favourite colours now.

This is me at 6 weeks:



This was taken when I actually fitted in the bouncer thing. There is a photo (in the same series as the "grumpy" one) taken a year later where my feet are hanging out of the bottom of the bouncer as I started to grow....

Oh, and I still have that tiger and it still works. (it's a mother and baby tiger - you pull the baby tiger away on a cord and it slowly goes back whilst playing a tune as the mothers head rolls round)

This is spooky! I have a pic of MY son aged 6 weeks in an identical bouncer thingie and in the same pose (looking off-screen!) How weird is that?

You can see the long legs starting in that last pic. Wayne. I think you have a look of your mum in the pic. in the 'my gran knitted me this' jumper!

I do look more like my Mum than my Dad definitely - it's the nose. Brother and sister both look more like Dad though. Weirdly, if you look at photos of my uncle (Mum's brother) when he was my age, we look very similar, and we're not even from Norfolk!

My daughter is the spitting image of my sister and people often mistake them for mother and daughter, it may be the blonde hair, I'm a brunette.
