I'm off to my pals pub to spend the actually festive days - oh such a chore! Mind you, it is oooop norf on the Yorks moors and I am a real soft southerner

Pub is here if anyone wants a recommendation of somewhere to stay

The 2008 Olympics of course! I don't follow sports that closely generally but come world event like this (as is also the World Cup), it gives good drama. I always make sure to watch the fastest man win, live (100 metres sprint final).
